I commited to this new enterprise February of 2023 as a food business training and information platform. I am targeting food lovers who are tickled – even thrilled – by the idea of expanding their followers beyond friends and family, to raving fans and thankful paying customers.

My Monetization Chef journey actually began when I relaunched a Facebook group, “Cottage Food Business”, languishing at the time with 123 members. (I will share that story in more detail in a future subscriber email.)

Twenty months after startup, as I write this, we are approaching 37,000 members in our very active community. Foodies helping foodies win at the game of business.

Now, I’ve put together this Substack email newsletter system which I named COTTAGE FOODOLOGY, to imply both the fun, AND the serious nature, of launching and growing a home-centric food business.
